Collaboration

The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) is a joint programme undertaken in the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. PRIMA aims to develop knowledge and innovative solutions for sustainable and climate resilient agro-food systems and water management in the Mediterranean area.

FACCE-JPI and PRIMA have been exploring possible collaboration at programmatic and institutional levels:

• Discussion about collaboration between the two networks in the FACCE-JPI Governing Board (June 2017, March 2019)
• FACCE-JPI participation in the PRIMA networking event to discuss possible synergies (8 November 2017, Brussels)
• FACCE-JPI’s membership in the External Advisory Board of the 4PRIMA Coordination and Support Action (May 2016)
